February Updates!

 In Schedule & Classes

We’ve been hearing that January felt like the longest month in a long time. For us, that just meant more time spent with our amazing community of members!

Some highlights included:

  • The start of the Resolution Reset, nutrition and exercise challenge
  • New fitness goals being created for the year ahead
  • Our in-house CrossFit throwdown and the CF total
  • New classes being added to the schedule, like barre and Sunday yoga
  • A month of free yoga classes
  • A book signing with one of our talented members
  • TURN rides with trainers and coaches

It’ll be hard to top such a great month, but we’re already off to a great start!

February 2nd was our One Year Anniversary Party, and it was an absolute blast! There were good vibes, free classes and tons of raffle giveaways!

There are some important things happening in the next week/month that we want you to know about:

$19 Upgrades Have Been Extended Through Sunday February 10th

We wanted to give you a little extra time to lock that upgrade in while it’s still discounted! We’ve seen a ton of new sign ups in the last month (hello to our new members!) and we want to give everyone adequate time to take advantage of this amazing deal! Now’s the time to do so! Come speak with, or email, the front desk to get yourself upgraded!


Mobility Clinic with Kayla, Starts Saturday February 9th

Our very own Kayla Horien is not only a talented CrossFit athlete, but she’s also a physical therapist, L1 Kinstretch and FRC certified. Starting February 9th and subsequent Saturdays, she’ll be teaching a donation-only mobility class at 9:15am in the yoga studio. The class will cover mobility/soft tissue techniques and FRC principles, as a way to care for our bodies.

This class is extremely beneficial for all members at DAC, as a way to stay mobile, injury-free, and continue to make progress toward your fitness goals.

Donations will go toward raising money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, her charity of choice for the Chicago Marathon that she’ll be running in the Fall.


Yoga & Barre Bring-a-Friend Special – All Month Long!

Valentine’s Day is coming up, and DAC is doing it a little differently this year. All month long, we’re offering FREE yoga and barre classes to our members who bring a non-member friend/spouse/family member to class with them. It’s a great way to enjoy class with your loved ones, AND finally get them to try out the gym you’ve been talking about!

AND you and your friend will be entered to win a FREE, 1 Month Unlimited Membership! Every friend you bring counts as one entry.

DAC Referral Program

Have you heard about our Referral Program? The more people you refer, the more free months of membership you’ll accrue!

Starting Feb 1: Every TWO people you refer who sign up for DAC memberships, earns you one FREE month on your membership.

Curious about the CrossFit Open? Find out what it is, how to participate and what to expect over the 5 weeks of the event. Everyone can be a part of the Open, so come armed with any questions you might have!
